Trying to figure out how to dress your family for your fall photo shoot?
Picking out outfits for you and your family can be really stressful! Gone are the days where everyone has to be matching! I recommend picking two or three colors out and sticking within that palette. Try this neutral palette from Old Navy.

Through the whole month of September I am holding mini sessions in Grapevine, Texas and Plano, Texas. Mini sessions can be booked on any weeknight in September and have start times of 5pm-6:45pm. You get to pick between two scenic outdoor locations in Grapevine and Plano. The mini sessions cost only $150 and will get you a 45 minute outdoor session, a CD of 10-15 edited images, and 1 custom phone case.

Fall Maternity Looks | Irving Maternity Photographer
Trying to figure out how to dress for your fall photo shoot? Picking out outfits for you and your growing belly can be really stressful!
One of the most frequently asked questions I get from clients is about their wardrobe and what they should wear to their photoshoot. I am constantly on Pinterest looking for wardrobe ideas for families, children, high school seniors, and couples. Fall Maternity Looks
Contrary to what you might think, the best clothes to wear are usually not maternity clothes. Maternity clothes, especially pants, usually have a thick elastic band around your belly for your comfort, but do not photograph well because they usually create a seam around your belly. Your aim is for a smooth shot of the belly, not one with a line running through it. The best way to go is to wear fitted, but stretchy clothes.
Some Suggestions:
Panel free pants
Fitted tank or t-shirt
Maxi dress (a pregnant girls best friend)
Long flowing skirt (fold over or fitted)
Unbuttoned pregnancy jeans
Lingerie, Swim Suit, or Fabric Wraps
Unbuttoned top {Your shirt or sweater or your husbands that can be buttoned at top and unbuttoned at bottom to expose belly}
Robe
Sentimental jewelry {If your ring doesn’t fit anymore wear it on a necklace}
Black {Best slimming color if you are self-conscious about your weight gain}
Another thing to think about when picking out clothes for a photoshoot is the fact that you will be having these photos for a long time. You don’t want to look back in ten years and be mortified at the outfits you picked out, so when in doubt go for classic looks that will stand the test of time. I’m not saying you have to necessarily play it safe in all of your outfits, but you may want to just think about this.
